Did you know burritos, like, aren't a thing in Mexico? "Fun" fact.
In July of last year I visited Monterrey, Mexico for about three weeks, and it was an amazing experience to say the least. It was my first time out of the country, so that was exciting. A little terrifying at the airport though (never travel to or from a country where you don't speak their language alone, no bueno). Monterrey is HOT, and it is nowhere near the beach, so don't go expecting any kind of "spring break" experience. Although it isn't very resort-like, it is still such a beautiful city completely surrounded by even more beautiful mountains.
I wish I kept better track of the places we went, and I'll be sure to provide a much more in-depth guide of my travels from here on out. For now though, I can tell you that hiking at Chipinque is a must,
